Tesla needs a date - comments required
Not that kind of date. He's dead. But he needs a date to discuss and a host.
Let's start with the host first...
Who's up for it? In the past we've generally had them at someone's house with a themed dinner to boot (potluck, menu selected by the host). However, you could host the discussion at a coffee house or some other venue, whatever will get you involved. Hosting also involves leading the discussion. Janet and Kathryn are out and I hosted not too long ago as did Joanna. So, uh, Jelena? (Todd?)
And now the date...
Our tradition has been to meet on Sunday afternoons/evenings. Since the holidays are coming up, and no one ever seems to start reading the book until there's a date, how about
1) Will you host our meeting?
2) Does November 11 work for you?
3) Does November 18 work for you?
4a) When you say a date works for you, do you mean you are actually committing to read the book AND show up?
4b) If no, then what does it mean
5a) Is Shelly a little too uptight about book club?
5b) Why do you think that is?

as of now, yes - look - it's the first weekend in 2 months that i hadn't committed to anything - why not commit to something now. *sigh* i want to say this weekend does not work just b/c it would be nice to have a non-committed weekend.

1) I can't host this time, but I'd be willing to try again sometime soon. My track record can only improve since nobody showed up at the Winter's Tale meeting!
